It’s finally here! The week that will give us the champions of both Europa League and Champions League. Four English teams are fighting for the four titles: Arsenal and Chelsea in Europa League, and Tottenham and Liverpool in Champions League. Which teams will claim the titles?
First up this week is the Europa League final, set to take place between Arsenal – Chelsea on Baku Olympic Stadium on Wednesday 29/5 at 21:00 local time. This will be the second all-English Europa League final in history – after Tottenham facing Wolverhampton in the UEFA back in 1972.
Both teams are playing in a major European final for the sixth time – and historically, Chelsea has the better record. Arsenal has lost five of their six finals – with their only win being in the Winners Cup back in 1994. Chelsea on the other hand has won one UEFA Champions League, two UEFA Cup Winners’ Cups, one UEFA Europa League and one UEFA Super Cup. The odds for this week’s final are very even – but at Unibet, the odds are slightly in Chelsea’s favour:
Chelsea – Arsenal
Europa League final – 29/5 2019 – 20:00
1 – 7/5 x – 47/20 2 – 41/20
The Champions League, between Tottenham – Liverpool will take place at the Wanda Metropolitan0 Stadium in Madrid on June 1st. Harry Kane is believed to be back on the field for Tottenham for the final, and Mo Salah is said to be in great shape for Liverpool – so it’s set to be a star-packed final! The odds at Unibet are in Liverpool’s favour – but keep in mind that Tottenham were underdogs in their quarter-final against Man City as well. This is how the odds are looking at Unibet:
Tottenham – Liverpool
Champions League final – 1/6 2019 – 20:00
1 – 3/1 x – 13/5 2 – 19/20
